Wishing to start anew, Charlie quickly makes three friends who are intrigued by her, as she seems unsettled by a presence we don’t automatically understand.
Just as Charlie is adapting, disturbing sounds from the family in the adjoining room spins Charlie’s world into a web of seduction, madness, and violence that threatens the sanity she has been so desperately clutching, leading you to an end that will haunt long after you’ve finished reading.
